Although the year 2020 is not far away, we introduce this theme as a way of encouraging and challenging each of our conference participants to meet the current needs of our deaf and hard of hearing children (regardless of age and/or needs) without losing sight of the future at hand.  Hence the other meaning of 20/20; the conference presents a unique opportunity to come together and to jointly develop a clear vision of how we can individually and holistically continue the process of paving the way for our children into the future with a clear vision.

We all are very similar: we are visionaries bent on making dreams happen in the world.  That is simply getting all the services to the parents, teachers, interpreters and professionals who in turn will pave the way for all deaf and hard of hearing children.
